When do I receive my Allowance and how long do I have to spend it?
Your Allowance is valid for an agreed term as mentioned in your lease agreement. It can be spent immediately upon signing your lease agreement, even before move-in. Payments are made 30 calendar days following (i) completion of the services or purchase of agreed products through the Essentials platform, (ii) receipt of your paid invoices or receipts substantiating the fully paid costs along with copies of vendor invoices summarizing work done, and (iii) receipt of a copy of all permits that may be required (to the extent that this is relevant).
Do I need to spend my whole Allowance at once or on a single product?
Your Allowance is yours to spend how it best benefits your business. You do not need to spend the whole amount in one go and it can be spread over multiple product purchases as needed.
Who can I contact with questions about the Essentials Allowance?
For questions about the Allowance, you can always contact your leasing manager or Essentials Solutions Manager.
Are the materials I purchase through Essentials owned by me?
In the event that you purchase any products or services via Prologis Essentials, they are and remain the your property, not that of Prologis.
Am I able to purchase products directly with my Allowance?
Unfortunately it is only possible to reimburse an entity that has signed the Prologis lease. Your Essentials Solutions Manager is always your starting point to help set up a purchase agreement.
Can I also lease the materials and receive the Allowance?
Yes this is possible. We transfer your Allowance reimbursement after you have successfully completed the first rent cycle of your (long-term) lease. Allowances do not apply to short-term rentals.
Do I need my Essentials Solutions manager (ESM) to make an Essentials Allowance purchase, or can I get my own quotes?
You must always set up a purchase plan with your ESM to start receiving quotes. Your Essentials Allowance can be spent on any of our affiliated vendor services and products, but they must be purchased through Essentials.
Why can an Essentials Allowance only be spent through an ESM plan?
Many of our partners offer international discounts for Prologis Essentials customers. If your request is already known, many of our partners are not happy to give an extra discount that reduces their margin. In order to continue to guarantee these high discounts, volume passing through the Prologis Essentials platform is important. That is why we ask you to always run the applications through an ESM.
I need a specific product - can I spend my Allowance outside of Prologis Essentials?
